Day 10 – A day of recollection and celebration

Saturday was dedicated to prayer and reflection. The focus of the past three days was on challenging experiences, attentive listening, and healing conversations. To conclude this stage, the capitulants had the opportunity to look at these experiences from the perspective of Jesus and his disciples with the help of quotes from the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles.

The capitulants spent the morning in personal prayer; in the afternoon the sharing in groups was followed by a plenary with the question: “… As RSCJ and apostles of the twenty-first century, what is God calling us to be and what is God calling us to do?”.

The day ended with a Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Roberto Jaramillo SJ, followed by a pizza dinner and a party to close the first third of the Chapter.
