Day 3 : Presentation of reports

Saturday began by asking the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to open our eyes, ears and hearts to follow the light they show us.

Then the morning was devoted to the presentation of reports.

First was the General Council report, and then the Financial Report. Capitulants were invited to listen to these reports while thinking about these questions:

What resonates most with me? Is there anything I’ve heard that broadens my experience, my perspective of the Society at this time? Is there anything I want to say to the presenters?  Any recommendations?  At the end of each presentation, there was time for clarification, questions and dialogue.

Then, in the afternoon, the Congregation Study was presented, along with a summary of the reports from the Provinces, with the suggestion that capitulants consider:

  • the new signs of life,
  • the challenges that will require special attention,
  • what, from your point of view, has not been said.

The day ended with a moment of silence to assimilate the content of the day.
